Description
Since January 1, 2007, every truck and every semitrailer vehicle, depending on the Euro class, must have a German ecolabel or environmental tag if the journey takes place in certain environmental zones in Germany. This measure is intended to ensure cleaner air in city centers and areas with high traffic frequency. Only vehicles with the appropriate sticker are allowed to drive in these environmental zones. In this way, Germany is implementing the EU Air Quality Directive 1999/30 / EC.
